We were uncertain of what to expect, but the topper is excellent. It feels luxurious and fits very well on our hard-sided waterbed. So far, no corners have shifted or come loose. I also adjusted the waterbed heater from 89 to 84 degrees, and there is no cold sensation. We are sleeping very comfortably on the topper.

The topper is nice and good quality. It helps with cushioning our mattress that is a bit too firm, but i do not feel it has made as much difference as advertisements led me to believe it would.

FIRST PAIN-FREE MORNING IN 8 MONTHS. I'd been waking at 4:30 every morning, hip throbbing, ready to spend the $2,400 on the Tempur-Pedic. The Hanare arrived Tuesday. Night 14 I slept past 6 and just laid there trying to figure out what was different. The Tempur-Pedic is still in the cart. I'm not buying it.

We are enjoying our Hanare mattress topper very much....BUT, after multiple measurements of it's thickness, it has never measured more than 2.5 inches in thickness, regardless of how I fluff it up. It is advertised as a full 3 inches in thickness, and that's what I expected. However, it is very comfortable.

Eleven year old mattress. We'd been having the "do we spend $1,800 we don't have" conversation for SIX MONTHS. Bought the Hanare half hoping. Husband said it on night three: "this is different." We saved the $1,800. Same bed. Different layer.

While the topper is cushy enough, I do not find it particularly comfortable; I slept cooler on my previous topper. This one retains heat too much, but I suppose I will like it better in the winter, unless Hanare wants to give me a refund. This one also does not fit as snugly as I would like, and it slides too much. I'd rate it a 5/10.

My gynecologist literally said the words "before we talk about hormones, change what you sleep on." I went home pissed off because I'd already burned $600 on cooling toppers. The Hanare lasted past 1am. Then 2am. Then 3am. I have not asked for hormones. Three months in.

Don't let any menopause talk fool you, I'm 45 and not menopausal. I bought this because hotel beds always feel different and I needed to know why. Now my bed at home feels exactly like the one at the Four Seasons. Worth every dollar.

I've tried every cooling topper on Amazon. Every single one. The Hanare is in a different category entirely. My shoulder used to wake me 3 or 4 times a night. Three weeks in I realized I'd slept the whole night without rolling over once.

38, not menopausal, just a hot sleeper my whole life. The kind of sleeper who flips the pillow constantly looking for the cool side. I haven't flipped the pillow in two months. The whole side stays cool now.

Used to wake up with damp pajamas and sheets every night. Plural. Now I wake up dry. The Japanese layering thing actually works. I almost replaced my mattress for $2,500 and instead spent $149.

First time my husband has slept on his side of the bed in two years. Three weeks of Hanare and he came back. Even our dog claims it during the day. I'm not making this up.
